“Eden” is something that we don’t really know yet what it may become. At the moment it is a online character storage, which allows synchronization of characters e.g. between your desktop computer and your mobile device - currently without any kind of online frontend.

Eden also enables you to transfer eventually existing licenses from one installation to another.

What may be

Once there is an online storage of characters, there are other ideas what you might do with it.

  • View characters online

  • Allow VTT platforms (or the Discord dice bot) to access characters (to auto-sync your modified character into your VTT)

  • Share characters with your GM (or the public)

  • Allow GMs to have an overview of all characters in their group - and eventually grant rewards or even modify them. … Okay, this is getting more and more like D&D Beyond …
